Unlocked Potential has officially opened registration for the 2026 Flag Elite Winter Youth Basketball League, providing young athletes with a fun and developmental sports experience in Northern Arizona. Registration can be done online.
The program is designed for players of all skill levels, giving youth an opportunity to build confidence, learn fundamental basketball skills, and compete in a positive environment. The league features weekly practices and regular season games, season jerseys, awards, and an end-of-season playoff tournament for eligible age groups.
A major highlight of this year’s league is that championship games for the 3rd–4th grade, 5th–6th grade, and 7th–9th grade divisions will be played at the Phoenix Suns Arena. This exciting opportunity allows young athletes to experience the thrill of competing on a professional court.
Parents are encouraged to register early. As noted on the league website, “Hurry Fast and Sign Up Your Child For Our Winter Youth Recreation Basketball League.”
The league begins its regular season in January and maintains a family-friendly atmosphere where kids can grow their love for the game. There will be no games over Spring Break. Player assessments will take place in January for the 1st–2nd grade, 3rd–4th grade, 5th–6th grade, 7th–9th grade, and High School divisions. PreK–K and 1st–2nd grade divisions are structured differently, and families may contact Coach Kiki for more details.
The registration price is $160.00, with additional grade-based pricing applied for select divisions. Unlocked Potential also provides scholarships and financial assistance, ensuring more families can participate. Refunds and credits are not offered after November 10, 2025.
