Hamilton Reveals New Cast In West End. Book Hamilton Tickets Securely With Theatre Tickets London
New casting has been revealed for the West End production of Hamilton, with fresh company members joining the seven-time Olivier Award-winning production at the Victoria Palace Theatre from June 16. The epic, Pulitzer Prize-winning musical centres on the revolutionary historical figure, and founding father of the United States of America, Alexander Hamilton, whose rise into the political sphere sent shock waves around the world.

Bente Mulan will join the cast as Eliza Hamilton, and is accompanied by Yeukayi Ushe as Thomas Jefferson/Marquis De Lafayette, Jonathan Andrew Hume as George Washington, and Jasmine Jia Yung Shen as Maria Reynolds/Peggy Schuyler.

Alex Sawyer will continue in the show as Alexander Hamilton, alongside Emily-Mae as Angelica Schuyler, Daniel Boys as King George III, Jordan Castle as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison, Jay Perry as Aaron Burr, and Jordan Benjamin as Philip Hamilton/John Laurens. For some performances, Adam J. Bernard will play Alexander Hamilton.

Also joining the ensemble are Zera Aitken, Yuki Abe, Olivia Kate Holding, Joshua Clemetson, Sergi Ibanez, Luca Dinardo, Tim Nutt, Lily Laight, Aidan Nightingale, Kiran Patel, Natasha Wilde, Joshian Angelo Omaña, Liam Raven, Aharon Rayner, and Daisy Ward.

Continuing in the Hamilton ensemble will be Roxanne Couch, Nicola Espallardo, Richard Appiah-Sarpong, Ella Kora, Manaia Glassey-Ohlson, Turrell Barrett-Wallace, Jack Harrison-Cooper, Nicolais-Andre Kerry, and Paulo Teixeira.

The musical has made its creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda, a global superstar, along with original stars of the show, such as Leslie Odom Jr and Daveed Diggs. As Hamilton's record-breaking trajectory continues in the West End, it is now marked as one of the greatest musicals of all time.

The world premiere of Hamilton took place at the Off-Broadway Public Theater and was initially scheduled for a strictly limited run. Audiences, however, couldn't get enough, and Hamilton soon transferred to Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, where it officially opened on 6 August 2015 and continues to run to this day.

Hamilton began previews on 6 December 2017 in the West End, in London at the newly renovated Victoria Palace Theatre, ahead of an official opening on 20 December 2017.

The musical centres on Alexander Hamilton, who was born in the West Indies and moved to America following the death of his mother in search of opportunity. The fact that Hamilton was an immigrant is poignant and reflects in the diverse cast to show how the United States has evolved as a nation since its beginnings from the Revolutionary War.

Hamilton served in the war as an aide to George Washington, who commanded the Continental Army before serving as the first President of the newly formed United States of America. After the war, Hamilton helped to develop the United States financial system and the Department of the Treasury, which is still relevant today. As an ode to the foundations he set, Hamilton is one of the few individuals whose face appears on American bank notes.

The popularity of the musical shows no sign of abating, and Hamilton tickets are still hot property in London as its fresh, engaging take on historical events resonates with contemporary audiences and has created a modern theatrical classic.

To book London theatre tickets at the Victoria Palace Theatre, it is worth noting that prices can vary due to market forces, and different price bands are available, so studying the seating plan is recommended.
