BOSTON — September 11, 2026 — Brickclay, a technology services firm working across data engineering, artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, product engineering and brand design, has completed ten years of operations. Founded in 2016, the company now employs more than 100 specialists and reports a 96 percent project success rate across the engagements it has delivered.
The milestone arrives at a point when enterprise buyers are actively consolidating vendors. Companies that once hired separate firms for data warehousing, machine learning, application development and design are now looking for partners who can carry a project across all four without losing time and accuracy in the handoffs between them. That shift has run alongside a broader move in artificial intelligence spending, where budgets have moved out of pilot programs and into production systems that businesses depend on daily.
"Ten years ago we started with a simple observation: most companies had more data than they could use and more design work than they could ship," said Yasir Aleem, Chief Executive Officer of Brickclay. "What has changed since then is not the problem but the expectation. Clients now want the data platform, the AI models running on top of it, and the product interface people actually touch to be built by teams that talk to each other. That is the company we have spent a decade assembling."
Services across five practice areas
Brickclay's work is organized into five practice areas that are staffed to operate together rather than as separate business units.
In data and analytics, the firm builds the foundations most analytics work depends on: data engineering pipelines, enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and the business intelligence layers that sit on top of them. Reporting and visualization work is delivered in Power BI, Tableau and Crystal Reports depending on where a client's stack already sits. The practice also covers big data platforms, database management, and data quality assurance, which in most engagements is the step that determines whether anything built downstream can be trusted.
In AI and automation, Brickclay delivers data science, machine learning, generative AI and agentic AI projects. The work spans feature engineering and data preparation, business forecasting and predictive modeling, real-time anomaly and outlier detection, personalized recommendation engines, natural language processing, deep learning and computer vision, and advanced time series forecasting. A significant portion of the practice is devoted to model deployment and MLOps, including the monitoring frameworks that detect drift and trigger retraining, which is where models most often fail once they leave a testing environment.
In cloud infrastructure, the company works across Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, covering migration, architecture, containerized deployment and ongoing cost and performance optimization.
In product engineering, services include full product development, front-end and back-end engineering, performance and maintenance, and cybersecurity consulting. Teams work on both new builds and on modernizing systems that have outgrown their original architecture.
In brand experience, Brickclay's design studio delivers brand identity, UI and UX design, mobile app design, and illustration and icon systems. The studio has produced more than one million design assets to date and works both on standalone identity projects and as the design layer on the firm's product engineering engagements.
Industry solutions
Alongside the five practice areas, Brickclay maintains eleven industry-specific solution sets. These allow project teams to bring sector context into an engagement rather than starting from a blank page, which shortens discovery and reduces the number of assumptions that have to be tested during the early phase of a build. In practice this means understanding the reporting obligations, data structures and operational patterns of a client's sector before the first workshop rather than after it.
Certifications and partnerships
Brickclay is a Microsoft Solutions Partner and holds both ISO 9001 certification for quality management and ISO 27001 certification for information security management. The second of those has become a common procurement requirement asClient retention over project volume
Alongside the project success rate, the company reports a 98 percent client satisfaction score, an average client tenure of 4.5 years, and an 85 percent rate of repeat engagements. Those figures point to a delivery model built around long-running relationships rather than one-off projects, with teams that stay attached to a system after launch.
"The metric we care about is not how many projects we have delivered but how long clients stay," said Yasir Aleem. "An average engagement of four and a half years tells us more about the work than any award would. Clients do not renew for a decade because a deliverable arrived on time. They renew because the thing that was built kept working after we handed it over, and because the people who built it were still there to answer questions about it a year later."
The next decade
Investment over the coming period is focused on agentic AI and on the data foundations those systems depend on, an area of sustained activity across the sector as organizations move from isolated AI features toward systems that carry out multi-step work across connected tools.
"Most of the difficulty in agentic AI is not the agent," said Aleem. "It is everything underneath it. Companies that spent the last few years getting their data in order are the ones who will be able to do anything useful with it."
