Marquis Who's Who Honors Eugene C. Adee as a Leader in Aviation Consulting

UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / December 3, 2025 / Marquis Who's Who honors Eugene C. Adee with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award for his leadership in the aviation consulting industry. With over six decades of experience in his profession, Mr. Adee continues to leverage his expertise in aviation, regulation and training to assist others. As an industry expert, his leadership has yielded significant accomplishments in numerous operations.

As a child, Mr. Adee noticed how much his father disliked going to work in the morning. In sixth grade, he decided he would find a job where he could look forward to going to work and that would allow him to enjoy himself. He still considers this decision one of his greatest professional achievements and has never been disappointed with the choices he has made.

From Education to a Distinguished Military Tenure

To pursue his passion of becoming a wartime fighter pilot, Mr. Adee knew that he needed to set himself on the right path and pursue college, officer training, pilot training, and fighter training.

In 1967, he earned a Bachelor of Science in geology and earth science from Ball State University. This was during the height of the Vietnam War, and he volunteered to serve. All four military branches accepted Mr. Adee, and he chose the U.S. Air Force for officer training. He then went to Texas for pilot and fighter training. His notable military service lasted 24 years, during which he achieved the rank of lieutenant colonel and received several honors, including three Distinguished Flying Crosses and sixteen Air Medals.

Following his military service, Mr. Adee transitioned to work as a commercial pilot with Southwest Airlines Co. from 1984 to 2004. During this time, he also completed a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. While he excelled in the industry, he was forced to retire at the age of 60 due to a federal mandate.

Despite this setback, he continued to share his knowledge and passion for innovation by working as an independent contract pilot, flying and instructing worldwide. However, after being diagnosed with prostate cancer, which was linked to his service in Vietnam, he was forced to retire from flying in 2009.

Joining ADEE Consulting

In 2010, Mr. Adee founded ADEEConsulting, leveraging his experience as a ground and flight instructor in both military and civilian sectors. In this role, he helped develop numerous flight manuals and provided simulator training for both ground and flight personnel, establishing himself as a knowledgeable resource in aviation. Considering himself an "overkill kind of guy," Mr. Adee's strong determination to find the answer to any question or problem has made him stand out as a consultant who thoroughly investigates every issue he encounters.

Plans for the Future

Moving forward, Mr. Adee plans to continue working as a consultant while pursuing his hobbies of long-distance motorcycle riding, woodworking, and creating toys for children during the Christmas season. He also hopes to contribute more to the Veterans Administration and Vet Centers. Whatever the future holds, Mr. Adee is confident he will find solutions and keep working toward success, enjoying every step along the way.
