About Mike R. Galli
Mr. Galli began his legal career in 1984 as a unit member of the Office of the District Attorney for Santa Clara County, California. A Focus on the Fourth Amendment Law
Mr. Galli's career centered on complex areas of Fourth Amendment law, where he developed deep expertise in drafting and defending search warrants. He continues to contribute to the field as the author of the "Search Warrant Law and Practice Manual," now in its fifth edition. The manual contains more than 850 pages of text and templates and soon will be updated and expanded further with a new chapter on standing issues.
In addition to his courtroom achievements, Mr. Galli spent nearly four decades as an instructor and technical adviser. He taught thousands of law enforcement professionals, district attorneys and paralegals across California. He served as a faculty member at the Robert Presley Institute of Criminal Investigation and as a lead instructor for the California District Attorneys Association.
