The Knot Magazine Launches Winter 2025 Issue with an Exclusive Look at Kat Graham and Bryant Wood’s Wedding

In their wedding exclusive and first-ever joint magazine cover story, actor, singer, and activist Kat Graham and wellness entrepreneur and breathwork coach Bryant Wood open up about navigating loss, finding strength in chosen family, and why marriage still matters.

The new issue also spotlights The Knot’s 2025 “Ones to Watch” honorees, celebrating the rising stars shaping the wedding industry.

Today, The Knot Magazine unveiled its Winter 2025 Celebration Issue, dedicated to honoring the joy, meaning, and connection found in life’s milestone moments. At the heart of the issue is the magazine’s wedding exclusive and first-ever joint cover story with actor, singer, and activist Kat Graham and wellness entrepreneur and breathwork coach Bryant Wood.

In the cover story, Graham and Wood share an intimate look into their journey. From a years-long friendship to a spontaneous elopement in Bermuda shorts to their breathtaking August 2025 wedding in Mountain Center, California, the couple reveals how they created not one, but two uniquely personal unions and why marriage still matters.

For Graham, whose mother passed before the wedding, and Wood, who overcame early struggles with addiction and anxiety, the wedding day in California was both healing and joyful. “It was the first time I could process with my family,” Kat reflects. “Looking around it just hit me. It was the best day.” Bryant adds, “Everything we had at the wedding is what we love in our day-to-day life. It was authentic to us.”

“We’re honored to exclusively feature Kat and Bryant’s wedding story and first joint cover in our Winter 2025 Celebration Issue,” said Annie Carroll, Head of Editorial, The Knot. “Their journey reinforces why it’s so important to make space for celebration, big or small as it's these moments in life that truly make us. Emerging from traumatic loss, Kat and Bryant were reminded how much their union and celebrating love truly matters and we are thrilled to be able to share their story.”

The focus on celebrations is timely. The Knot Worldwide, parent company of The Knot, recently released a new 2025 Future of Celebrations Report, offering insights into how people are connecting and finding joy through gatherings. Survey findings reveal that:

  • Less than a third of U.S. users surveyed are attending in-person social gatherings weekly and less than half feel very connected to their friends.
  • Eight in 10 people believe people don’t celebrate enough in today’s world.
  • Two-thirds said they have taken or plan to take steps to combat loneliness this year, with 41% planning to host a celebration.
  • Nearly all (92%) believe participating in celebrations improves their emotional well-being and 88% believe celebrations have the power to combat loneliness.
  • Eighty-five percent view celebration as an essential part of their overall health.

The new issue also debuts The Knot’s annual “Ones to Watch” list, spotlighting 21 emerging wedding professionals redefining the industry with artistry, inclusivity, and bold vision. This year’s honorees include planners, floral designers, content creators, analog photographers, and music professionals—reflecting the latest trends in how couples celebrate.
