“We’re excited to open our doors in Sacramento,” said Jonathan Neman, Sweetgreen co-founder and CEO. “Midtown and Fair Oaks are vibrant, welcoming neighborhoods, and we’re looking forward to bringing our fresh, made-from-scratch food to the community as we continue expanding into new markets, including our recent openings in Arizona and Arkansas.”

Sweetgreen is introducing Sacramento to its chef-driven menu made with fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients cooked onsite daily. Guests will enjoy fan favorites such as the Harvest Bowl, Crispy Rice Bowl and Miso Glazed Salmon, along with seasonal offerings including the Garlic Parm Cauli Bowl and Chicken Cauli Plate.

To celebrate its Sacramento debut, Sweetgreen will host a grand opening event at the Midtown restaurant on Tuesday, December 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy live music by “DJ Flow” Chris Santos, seasonal scoops from Salt & Straw, sips from Camp Cove, a fall candle from Happy Organics, Sweetgreen swag and more while supplies last. In line with its mission, for every meal purchased on opening day at Midtown, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services to support individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in Sacramento County.

The 2,119-square-foot Midtown restaurant offers seating for 20 indoors and 14 on the patio. Guests can order in-restaurant, online or through the Sweetgreen app, which provides access to SG Rewards. Members earn 10 points per eligible dollar spent, unlocking perks, exclusive deals and free favorites.

Sweetgreen Midtown will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The Fair Oaks + Howe restaurant, opening later in December, will further expand Sweetgreen’s presence in Sacramento, offering another convenient destination for locals to enjoy delicious food. Sweetgreen will share additional details about the Fair Oaks + Howe grand opening as the date approaches.
