With her exceptional background in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, Dr. Ulrich brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for advancing equitable access to care in reproductive medicine. Dr. Ulrich is now scheduling new patient appointments at our Baton Rouge location.

Dr. Nicole Ulrich is an experienced, board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and fertility specialist who joined the Fertility Institute in 2025. In addition to being dedicated to helping patients achieve their family-building goals, Dr. Ulrich is also the Director of Advocacy for The Fertility Institute. Dr. Ulrich takes an individualized and thoughtful approach to treatment, focusing on each patient’s unique needs and goals. She aims to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while empowering patients through every step of their fertility journey. As every patient and couple is unique, she believes in treating the whole person—not just their test results—by fostering open communication and creating a personalized plan that aligns with the patient’s values and vision for building their family.

In addition to providing compassionate and individualized patient care, she is also the Director of Advocacy for The Fertility Institute. “My goal is to help individuals and families access the fertility care they need while addressing the disparities and stigmas that can prevent them from seeking treatment,” said Dr. Ulrich.

Redefining Care Through Innovation and Advocacy

Throughout her career, Dr. Ulrich has been recognized for her contributions to reproductive medicine, earning awards such as the Outstanding Abstract Award from the Endocrine Society and selection as part of the inaugural cohort of PRIMED (Preparing Experts in Reproductive Medicine to Engage Decisionmakers) scholars through the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. She is also the President of the Louisiana Fertility Alliance, a physician group focused on patient advocacy in Louisiana. Her expertise and research interests include operative hysteroscopy, individualized infertility treatments, oncofertility, and family building for the LGBTQ+ community.

Dr. Ulrich is excited to welcome patients in the Baton Rouge office, providing personalized care with warmth and expertise. As Director of Advocacy, Dr. Ulrich will lead initiatives to improve awareness, equity, and access to infertility care while supporting community education about reproductive health. Her dedication aligns with The Fertility Institute’s mission to prioritize patient-centered care while advancing innovation in reproductive medicine.
