About the Author
Rodolfo (Rudy) Blanco is the founder and president of Pathway Services, Inc., a company that serves government transportation agencies by collecting and reporting automated road condition data to optimize resource use and extend the life of critical infrastructure. Today, Pathway Services operates in more than half of all U.S. state transportation agencies and internationally.
Rudy holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Production Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University. He and his wife, Lavonne, have been married for thirty-six years and are proud parents of seven children.
