CHLENA’s competitive advantage lies in its exclusive access to premium ingredients. CANABI has signed an exclusive supply agreement with Neocanbio, a spin-off company from the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). Through this partnership, the company uses high-concentration, high-purity exosomes and HS-PDRN complexes across all CHLENA products. “Although they are topical skincare products, we designed them to deliver dramatic results in brightening, elasticity, and skin regeneration,” Eum jiny said, expressing her strong confidence in CHLENA’s technology. She also shared that the formulation helped improve the crater-like pores that had been her personal skin concern since her twenties—an experience that further solidified her trust in the brand’s efficacy.
Eum jiny’s determined leadership philosophy is also reflected in her personal role model. Having previously worked at Hyundai, she draws inspiration from the late Chung Ju-yung, the visionary founder who built Korea’s shipbuilding industry, symbolized by the turtle ship engraved on the 500-won bill. Eum describes her strengths as “integrity, courage, and a persistent drive to finish what I begin,” emphasizing her life motto that “where there is will, there is a way.”
CANABI offers a skincare lineup suited for all ages and skin types. The CHLENA Light line is recommended for acne-prone and combination skin in the 10–30 age range, while the main CHLENA line is geared toward revitalizing and strengthening aging or fatigued skin for consumers in their 30s and beyond. “My goal in life is to create something that satisfies me and, in turn, satisfies others—to become a source of hope for someone else,” Eum jiny shared. She also expressed her vision to continue expanding CANABI into a rapidly growing global beauty brand powered by authentically consumer-validated product performance.
