Dave Warren Golf Carts and Powersports "Drivers for the Cure Charity Auction" founder Dave Warren says it's important to let folks like Jenifer and the Clements Family know they are not alone in the fight of their lives.

-- everyoneThe Second Annual Dave Warren Drivers for the Cure Charity Auction is underway, carrying forward a heartfelt tradition that started with one simple purpose: to support members of the racing community when they need it most. What began as a way to lift up a friend in a moment of crisis has evolved into an annual event that brings racers, fans, families, and local supporters together around a shared mission—helping those fighting cancer.
Drivers for the Cure has always stayed close to its roots. Last year, the event rallied around family friend Steve Briggs. This year, the focus turns to someone whose name is deeply woven into late-model racing—Jennifer Clements Zellner, daughter of the Clements Racing Engines family.
Jennifer’s journey is both unexpected and inspiring. In December 2024, she went in for what should have been a routine CT scan to address stomach pain. Instead, doctors discovered a 16mm nodule in her right lung. What followed was a series of tests, consultations, and, eventually, a major surgery that removed part of her lung along with multiple lymph nodes. She was later diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer.
Since then, Jennifer has faced chemotherapy, recovery, constant medical follow-ups, and the emotional weight that comes with a life-changing illness. She recently completed eight rounds of chemotherapy and will undergo a critical follow-up scan later this month. Through all of it, her faith, determination, and commitment to early detection advocacy have become a beacon of strength for everyone around her.
To help support Jennifer and the Clements family, Drivers for the Cure has once again brought the community together through its annual charity auction. This year’s event features highly sought-after racing memorabilia, including door panels, helmets, autographed gear, and other one-of-a-kind pieces that hold real meaning for collectors and race fans alike.
In addition to the auction, the Second Annual Drivers for the Cure Golf Outing—which took place earlier this year—brought supporters together for a full day of fundraising, camaraderie, and celebration. The outing helped lay the groundwork for the continued fundraising efforts happening right now through the charity auction.
What makes this event special isn’t just the memorabilia or the money raised—it’s the unity behind it. Every bid and every donation goes directly toward helping a family navigate the toughest fight of their lives.
The Dave Warren team encourages the community to keep Jennifer in their prayers, share her story, and join the cause. Together, everyone continues to lift up families—one auction, one story, and one act of generosity at a time. Find out more at https://driversforthecure.com/
