Carolinas Premier Softwash, a pressure washing and soft washing company based in Greenville, is introducing its house washing and exterior cleaning services to homeowners and businesses across Upstate South Carolina. The company cleans home exteriors, roofs, driveways and commercial buildings, matching the cleaning method to each surface it works on. Alongside the introduction, the company is expanding its roof cleaning service, which uses the same low-pressure soft washing method on shingle roofs.
House washing is the center of the company's residential work. Instead of relying on high pressure, its technicians use soft washing, which pairs low pressure with a cleaning solution applied to break down dirt, mold, mildew and algae on vinyl, wood and composite siding, brick, stucco, natural stone and metal. High-pressure equipment is kept for durable surfaces such as concrete driveways and patios.
"High-pressure washing is built for durable surfaces like concrete, not for vinyl siding, wood, stucco or painted surfaces," said Matthew Naylor, owner and operator of Carolinas Premier Softwash. "Too much pressure can crack siding, strip paint and force water behind panels, so every job starts with an on-site assessment to choose the right pressure and solution for each surface."
Each residential job follows the same sequence. A technician first walks the exterior to identify surface types, problem areas and any pre-existing damage. The surfaces are then pre-treated, rinsed at low pressure with care taken around landscaping and outdoor fixtures, and reviewed with the homeowner in a final walkthrough before the job is considered complete.
The company's team brings more than a decade of industry experience. The company works with commercial-grade equipment and serves residential and commercial properties throughout the Greenville area and the surrounding Upstate communities.
Roof cleaning is the area the company is now building out. The service applies a low-pressure soft wash and cleaning solution to shingle roofs to lift the moss, algae and dark streaks common in the humid Upstate, instead of the high pressure used on concrete. The company treats roof cleaning as routine maintenance and schedules it alongside other exterior work. The company often pairs house washing with roof and gutter cleaning so that runoff does not restain a freshly cleaned wall.
Beyond home exteriors and roofs, the company's residential services include gutter cleaning, window cleaning, driveway washing, and patio, deck, brick and fence cleaning, along with red clay removal.
Its commercial work covers building and storefront washing, concrete and dumpster pad cleaning, post-construction cleanup, and cleaning for flat TPO and EPDM roofs. The company works on restaurants, gas stations and convenience stores, retail centers, hotels, warehouses, schools and daycares, churches, medical facilities and homeowners association common areas, and schedules commercial work to limit disruption to daily operations.
"A home or business is one of the owner's most valuable assets, and we take care of every property like it was our own," Naylor said. "Routine exterior cleaning is part of keeping a property looking the way the owner wants it to."
The company points to the humidity of the Upstate as a main reason exteriors collect mold and mildew, along with pollen and other organic growth. Its general recommendation is to clean a home's exterior once a year, noting that a thick tree canopy, nearby traffic and seasonal weather can mean more frequent service. It also offers recurring maintenance plans for homeowners and businesses.
