Diamond Haus Custom Jewelers has announced a September 2026 diamond sourcing trip to Antwerp, Belgium, the historic center of the global diamond trade. The visit is intended to strengthen the company’s knowledge of diamond selection, grading practices, and supply relationships that support its in-house custom design work.
The family-owned business was founded in 1997 and originally operated as Fort Thomas Jewelers. It began as a repair and manufacturing shop serving wholesale clients locally and nationwide before shifting toward retail custom design. Co-owners Vincent Keairns and Renne Keairns remain involved as the next generation, including daughters Bilinda and Taylor, takes on larger roles in daily operations. The team reports more than 100 years of combined jewelry experience and includes GIA-certified gemologists.

Vincent Keairns, co-owner, said the trip is meant to keep the workshop connected to current market conditions. “Seeing how diamonds are traded and evaluated in Antwerp gives the team a clearer picture of quality and origin before a stone is set in a custom piece,” Keairns said.
Renne Keairns, co-owner, added that the visit supports the same standards the family has applied since the shop opened. “Direct observation of the trade helps the staff explain grading decisions to clients and apply that knowledge when an heirloom is reset, or a new design is built,” she said.

Walk-in visits and scheduled consultations remain part of its retail practice. Work stays in-house, including repairs of family jewelry that other shops may decline.
