Summit Health, one of the nation’s leading providers of primary care and specialty care, will open two new multispecialty healthcare hubs in northern New Jersey this fall. On Sept. 16, a 78,000+ square-foot facility opened at 17-17 Route 208 in Fair Lawn, N.J. Summit Health announced today the appointment of Jeffrey D. Alter as the new Chief Executive Officer of the health care network formed by the 2019 merger of Summit Medical Group and CityMD. Mr. Alter will take the position of CEO of Summit Health effective October 4, succeeding Jeffrey Le Benger, MD, who has served as CEO of Summit Medical Group since 1999 and of Summit Health since 2019.
