Uranium Energy (NYSE American: UEC) has acquired 107,142,857 common shares of Anfield Energy Inc. (TSX-V: AEC) for $10.46 million ($15 million Canadian) through a subscription agreement. The purchase increases UEC’s ownership to 203,415,775 Anfield shares, representing approximately 17.8% of outstanding shares on a non-diluted basis and 24.2% on a partially diluted basis, assuming the exercise of all warrants. Prior to the acquisition, UEC held 96,272,918 Anfield shares and an equal number of warrants. UEC acquired the shares for investment purposes and has committed not to exercise warrants to become a “Control Person” under TSX Venture Exchange policies without approval.
